Luke's Baptism

Last weekend we baptized Luke at the church I grew up attending.  It was such a special day and we were so excited to share this moment with so many friends and family.

Luke was very well behaved during the ceremony.

Prior to Luke's baptism, Father John blessed our marriage.  It was very special as we will celebrate 5 years this October.

I love you so much honey.

At the conclusion of the blessing and baptism Fr. John gave a round of applause for Luke and he started clapping too.

Gay and Roger were able to come down from Tyler for Luke's special day.

After the ceremony, we had everyone over to Taddy and Grandpa's house for Granma Georgia's famous pasta.  Thank you J.W and Melissa for cooking the pasta!

Playing with cousin Emalie's Christmas gift, a piano.  I love Luke's expression here, "Oh no you didn't!".

It was a really neat time as we were able to get all of my Mother's family together.  It has been ages since we were all together.

We had a wonderful time last weekend.  Thank you to all our friends and family for your love and support.
