Big Strides

We have had so much fun in February!!  We are praying the ear infections are long gone as we put in tubes this month.  The first night Luke had his tubes, he started taking unassisted steps. If your child has trouble with their ears, go for the tubes!  Luke is running around the house these days and talking in his own gibberish language.  We are still working on words, but thanks to the ear infections we are a little delayed.  He is still having some trouble sleeping past 6am in the morning, but I think this is having to do with teething.  We can see more pearly whites in the far back of his mouth.  Molars equals pain and really, really awesome diaper blowouts!  We are hoping our little guy grows out of this soon so he can get some better sleep.  Mommy and Daddy would not mind to Luke.  Below are a few shots from this month.
Luke and his best bud Grant.

Both are walking and having so much fun.  Grant is wearing the Elmo t-shirt we gave him for Valentine's Day.  He is quite the fan.
I bought an embroidery/monogramming machine around Christmas last year and have been experimenting with applique.  This was my first.  I was so disappointed as Luke is apparently too big for Gerber 18 mo onesies, boo!  He only got to wear it twice.
Cannot forget the best store around!
I love this picture.  Luke has outgrown his changing table, so we are now changing on the floor.  At night after bath time we change his diaper and let him stand while we dress him.  He got away and grabbed his lovie.  Luke loves to cuddle with his lovie during naps and bedtime.

Watching NFL combine with Daddy.

Riding on the big boy swing in the backyard.  Thanks Mimi and Papa Lowery.

Love this picture.

More to come.....take care and miss you all terribly.
